Daniel is the Co-founder and Managing Partner of Aurora Macro, heading the firm’s Geopolitics, Risk, and Strategy practice. In a two-decade career spanning journalism, government, and finance, he has advised many of the world's leading businesses, investors, and governments. Since 2015, Daniel has served on the faculty at Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management. Daniel regularly provides expert commentary and analysis for leading media outlets, conferences, and industry forums. In his free time, he enjoys advising and investing in tech startups, vanquishing Dimitris Valatsas at board games, and connecting interesting people. Daniel lives in Newton, Massachusetts, with his wife and twin daughters. He is a graduate of Harvard’s Kennedy School and the University of Chicago Law School.
