Alex is the North American Commercial Lead for Piclo, the world’s leading independent marketplace for energy flexibility, where he heads the team dedicated to market strategy and operations, business development, customer success, and marketing functions. Prior to Piclo, Alex supported sales, contract negotiations, and business development of storage, solar, and other aggregated DERs across eastern North America for Enel X, including developing the largest behind-the-meter battery in North America. Before DERs, he worked on demand response and energy efficiency program management and modelling software, developing partnerships with utilities and government agencies, leading marketing and branding, and directing business expansion strategy
